County Chair
A County Chair who shall chair the County Committee and shall lead the committee in activities that will strengthen the Republican Party of Henry County and serve to elect qualified Republican candidates. The Chair may appoint a parliamentarian to aid in the conduct of County Committee meetings. The Chair may appoint such committees and their chairs as he deems desirable and he may dissolve such committees. Such appointments will not create additional votes or positions on the County Committee.
First Vice-Chair
A First Vice-Chair who shall assist the County Chair in the duties of his office, preside at County Committee meetings in the absence of the chair, and serve as Chair of a Committee on Precinct Organization composed of five Committee members-at-large. The duties of this committee shall be to recruit, organize, mobilize and maintain precinct organizations. It is the goal of each precinct organization to actively participate in election campaigns that encompass their precinct, and during off-year elections, to assist the party organization in fundraising and addressing local county issues.
Second Vice-Chair
A Second Vice-Chair who shall assist the Chair and the First Vice-Chair in their duties, preside at County Committee meetings in their absence, and who shall serve as Volunteer Coordinator responsible for recruiting and organizing volunteers for Republican Party Committee activities within the county.
Third Vice-Chair
A Third Vice-Chair who shall assist the Chair, the First Vice-Chair, and the Second Vice-Chair in their duties, preside at County Committee meetings in their absence, and who shall serve as Legislative Liaison with the Georgia state legislature and government and also serve as the Legislative Liaison with city and county government. Responsibilities include reporting on legislative activity which impacts the Republican Party and the citizens of Henry County.
Secretary
A Secretary who shall keep minutes and records of meetings, membership lists, records of attendance, and who shall handle correspondence at the direction of the County Chair. All records shall be made available to any member of the County Committee upon request.
Assistant Secretary
An Assistant Secretary who shall assist the Secretary in the duties of that office.
Treasurer
A Treasurer who shall keep records of funds and expenditures and make a monthly report to the County Committee. The Treasurer shall be responsible for maintaining bank accounts and receiving and disbursing funds at the direction of the County Committee. All disbursements shall be made by check and the checks shall be signed by one of the following: the Treasurer, the Assistant Treasurer, or the County Chair.
Assistant Treasurer
An Assistant Treasurer who shall assist the Treasurer in the duties of that office.
General Counsel
A General Counsel who shall be a licensed attorney and a member of the Georgia Bar, and who shall advise the County Committee as requested on legal matters.
Finance Chair
A Finance Chair who shall be Chair of the Finance Committee composed of the Assistant Finance Chair, The Treasurer, The Assistant Treasurer, and the Finance Chair of each precinct. If a precinct fails to elect a Finance Chair, the Precinct Chair shall serve on the County Finance Committee. This committee shall devise plans for raising funds to finance Republican activities.
Assistant Finance Chair
An Assistant Finance Chair who shall assist the Finance Chair in the duties of that office.
Committee members-at-Large
Five Committee members-at-Large who shall be members of the Committee on Precinct Organization.
District Representative
District Representative(s) elected at the County Convention who shall represent Henry County on the Congressional District Republican Committee(s). The election of and the number of such Representative(s) shall be determined by the Congressional District Rules pertaining to county representation. This position may be filled by one of the county officers or committee members-at-large without giving up their position as an officer or committee member-at- large if that be the desire of the party. In such case, election as a District Representative will not create an additional position on the County Committee.
